Eat well. Serve all week

The eat-well game for you and your friends. Log your plates, score points for good habits, and race a friend head to head. On Sunday night, someone's buying brunch.

Free while we're in beta. For adults 18 and over. Best played with a friend.

How it works

Ten seconds a meal. One winner a week.

No food diary, no meal plan, no rules about what you can eat. You live your week, and Serve keeps score.

Log your plate

Say what you ate, like "chicken wrap and a flat white", and we count the calories and protein for you. You can tweak anything that looks off. Photo logging is coming soon.

Score for good habits

Points for landing in your healthy range, getting enough protein and moving, plus a bonus for bouncing back after a big day. Eating too little never scores.

Sunday night: Served.

At 23:59 the week closes. You and your friend each picked a prize at the start of the week, and whoever comes second pays up.

Our promise

You can't win by starving.

Most diet challenges reward whoever eats the least. That's how people end up hungry, miserable and quitting by Wednesday.

Serve scores you for landing in a healthy range that's set for you, and that range never drops below a safe minimum. Skip meals and you score nothing. Eat well and you win.

We never rank anyone by weight, and nobody else ever sees yours.

In the beta the range is 1,500 to 1,800 kcal, up to 2,000 on your weekend day, and never below a healthy minimum.

Built for real life

One big night won't ruin your week.

Eating well is about what you do most days, not being perfect every day. You have a job that runs late, a group chat that never sleeps and a Friday you're not cancelling. The rules expect that.

Night out

Log it in the morning

Type in the drinks and the late-night chips roughly the next morning. Close enough counts.

+2

Second serve

Get back in your range the day after a big one and earn a bonus. The comeback counts more than the slip.

Sat

A weekend day

Pick one day a week with a bit more room, for the birthday dinner or Sunday roast.

Low

A light day

Ill, travelling or just not hungry? Mark a light day and nobody loses points for it.

Head to head

You, one friend, every week.

Healthy habits stick when someone's waiting on your score. Pick your rival, pick your prizes, and see who's ahead on Sunday night.

How a week goes

Monday you both start at zero. Every plate, every protein hit and every walk adds up. You'll get a nudge when your friend logs, and the lead can change on the last day.

Private where it matters

Your friends see your plates. Not your scale.

1

Your rival sees plates and points

What you logged each day and your score. Nobody else sees your race.

2

Weigh-ins stay yours

Weighing in is optional and private. Only you can see it, and it never counts towards your score.

What we believe
You're not after a diet. You want to eat properly, feel good, and maybe beat your best friend at it. So we made eating well a game you play together. Real food counts. Skipping meals never wins. One big night won't ruin your week.

Questions

The honest answers

Is this a diet app?

Not really. There's no meal plan and no banned foods. Serve rewards eating well and consistently, with friends keeping you company. Points come from landing in a healthy range, getting enough protein and moving, never from eating as little as possible.

Do I need a friend to play?

It's built for two, because a friend waiting on your score is what keeps people going. You can sign up on your own and invite someone when you're ready.

How does the counting work?

Describe what you ate in plain words and Serve estimates the calories and protein. Estimates are never perfect, so you can always adjust the numbers, and adding a detail like "cooked in butter" helps. Counting from a photo is coming soon.

What does it cost?

Nothing while we're in beta. If Serve becomes a paid app later, we'll tell you well in advance, and beta players will get a thank-you.

Who is it for?

Adults 18 and over in the UK and Denmark for now. If you have, or are recovering from, an eating disorder, a points game about food probably isn't right for you at the moment. Please look after yourself first.

What happens to my data?

Your food logs are stored in Europe and only you and your rival can see your race. We never sell your data or use it for ads. Ask us at any time and we'll send you a copy or delete it. The full details are in our privacy notice.

Who are you serving with?

Join the beta and bring a friend. We're letting people in a few pairs at a time, and pairs get in first.
